See?!?! Doing taxes can be fun!

I am getting all federal and state income tax that was withheld in 2005 fully refunded. That totals $860. Too bad Social Security and Medicare taxes are not also refunded to me. You know....since those programs will be bankrupt by the time I could use them. That would have been another $326. I could have invested it, started up my own personal Social Security program. Or it could have covered one month's rent AND allowed a trip to the dollar store to purchase one item. Like a cheese grater. I don't imagine a $1 cheese grater would be that nice though. It would probably rust quickly and be dull. So now it has to be thrown out and you don't have a good cheese grater and basically wasted the $1. Thanks for nothing government.
